Vassilios G. Agelidis was born in Serres, Greece. He received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace, Thrace, Greece, in 1988, the M.S. degree in applied science from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada, in 1992, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia, in 1997. He also holds a graduate diploma on business administration from the Curtin Graduate School of Business, Perth, Western Australia.
